How Do I Meet People?

We believe that we are called to community and that we need one another.  Sometimes getting to know new people can be a challenge. It is our desire that any person who wants to meet new people has that opportunity whether it’s on a Sunday, through  a small group, through fellowship times or through volunteering. Contact us if you have questions about how you can get connected.

Small Groups

Often, small groups are an easier place to be real and to know others and to be known!  As we connect in smaller group settings we form deeper relationships and encourage one another on in our walk with Jesus. For that reason, our church has Care Groups and Bible studies held either at the church or in peoples’ homes.
.
Sunday School

We believe that Sunday School is for all ages!  Our 9:45 am Sunday School classes are designed for age 2 right up through the Adult classes.    We also have a staffed nursery for those under 2 years of age. Our Sunday School classes run September through May.

Children’s Church

Midway through our Worship Service, the children ages 2 through grade one are dismissed to Children’s Church for their own time of learning God’s Word in a fun, age appropriate setting.  There is also a staffed nursery for babies up to age 2.
Children

There is 9:45 am Sunday School on Sunday mornings (from Sept. – May) for children of all ages. Watch for more information about kid’s activities starting up this fall.

Youth Ministry

Our youth group exists to help young people grades 7-12 became active, passionate followers of Jesus. The primary way we accomplish this is by gathering our students together each Sunday morning for small group Bible Studies. We want these groups to provide relevant teaching from the Bible, and small group time where safe and  open discussion takes place, and where meaningful relationships are made. We also provide fun Friday night activities where we encourage one another and have fun together. You don’t need to  pre-register for any of our regular events so feel free to just drop in.  Our youth programs run from September through June.

Bible Quizzing

Any youth from grades 7 to 12 are welcome to come out on Tuesdays at
6:15 pm for bible quizzing practice.
This involves memorizing scripture and participating in various Quiz Meets.
This is a great way to learn scripture and have fun at the same time!
Women’s Ministry

We believe that as women we need each other and we grow best in community.  In order to provided a variety of places for women to connect and grow, we offer various Women’s Bible studies . These groups typically meet during the daytime. Our women’s ministry also meets throughout the year for special nights of Worship and sharing, theme nights, and outreach nights.

Men’s Ministry

It is our desire that as men we be learning from God’s Word, growing together and challenging one another to be the men God has created and called us to be!  We also plan various activities and events for the men to participate in and connect with others at.  These range from Men’s Floor Hockey, ultimate Frisbee, hiking and golfing nights, and our annual Men’s Weekend in May. There is also a “Men’s Breakfast” held at the church on Tuesday mornings at 7 am. This is a great way for men to encourage, support, and pray for one another.

50 plus

We have an active group of 50+ people who enjoy getting together for regular activities and fellowship together, as well as who are actively involved in serving the Lord.  Watch the Bulletin to see what is happening and how you can get involved.
