Jeremy Quantz

Jeremy and his wife Cheree felt that God was leading them to move to Innisfail during the craziness of the pandemic in 2020. They have attended Innisfail Alliance Church since then.

Jeremy is a licensed electrician and works at the Johns Manville plant in Innisfail.

Jeremy and Cheree homeschooled all six of their children, two of which are now married and have provided them with two grandchildren.

As a couple they are currently leading a parenting small group and a Worship team. Music is a passion of Jeremy’s and most of the children have served on his worship team at some point.

Jeremy enjoys golf, board games and spending quality time with his family.

Cody Pivert

Cody and his family have been involved with the Innisfail Alliance Church for the past 13 years. Together they have been involved in youth ministry and are each also leading small groups and are involved in different ministries.

Cody is a school teacher at Innisfail Middle School having taught both French Immersion and English programming at the Grade 5/6 level. He also helps with extracurriculars at the school and runs a rock climbing program for both the school and the Town of Innisfail.

The Pivert family has an acreage outside of Innisfail with sheep, llamas, alpacas, chickens and more.

Troy Johnstone

Troy, Naomi and their three teenage children have been attending Innisfail Alliance Church since 2018. Troy grew up in the Maritimes and has been in full-time Christian ministry since 2002. The Johnstone family moved to Alberta in 2007 to work as missionaries in a small Christian ministry that makes tools to help people understand the Gospel message and ships these resources all around the world.

At I.A.C. Troy has served with the video team for live-streaming services, as a Sunday School teacher, and as a leader of a few small groups.

Troy enjoys spending time with his family and learning about the wonders of creation through his various hobbies.

John Hand

Board Chairman

John and Brenda Hand are charter members of Innisfail Alliance Church.  Having worked as an Educator for 40 years John is energized by seeing people grow in their walk with Jesus.

He has been involved with a number of the church ministries over time. Currently he is serving in our technical ministries doing sound and is a small group leader.  They enjoy the fellowship of our church, travel, and good food.

Hal Willis

Hal and his wife Linda have attended Innisfail Alliance Church for 20 years and have been members since 2005. Both Hal & Linda were born and raised in Innisfail and area.

Hal spent his working career with TransAlta Utilities for 32 years working in five different locations in Alberta. He retired in Calgary in 2000.

After moving back to Innisfail in 2004 they chose Innisfail Alliance Church as their church home. Both have served and participated in various ministries over that time. Hal has served on the Elders Board for several terms and with Linda’s help has cared for the Facilities and Building Maintenance coordination for a number of years.

Gabe Siebold

Gabe and his wife Erin have been attending Innisfail Alliance Church since moving to the area. They moved in 2013 when Gabe took a position as an operator/technician in the powerhouse at Dickson Dam. 

Gabe assists the worship team by doing powerpoint and supports Erin in children’s ministries. Together they have felt called by God to minister as foster parents.  

Gabe and Erin have two children of their own and live on an acreage near town.
